The arrival of spring in Louisiana brings many changes: flowers bloom, wildlife thrives, and rain falls steadily. But when spring rains combine with heavy snowmelt from the North, the Cajun Kids find their homeland threatened by rising floodwaters. As the waters continue to climb, Beth, Mark, Timmy, Annie, and Sam, along with their parents and friends, must work together to protect the inhabitants of Willow Hammock from unpredictable wildlife, swift currents, and the challenges that churn in the Dangerous Waters.
